May Grandma Webster's Funeral

On a smokey Saturday we gathered with our Webster family
to bury Grandma Lois Websters ashes.

A graveside service with a pick nick afterwards was a
wonderful way to remember her.

She was feisty and fun and loved her family.

The kids were really excited to see their
cousins from Washington State.
They especially enjoyed rolling
down the hill together.

We were glad we could do our part,
which was mostly to show up.

Park time with cousins of all ages and
stages was wonderful, as it always is.

Ms. C stayed in a swing for about 3 hours,
as someone was always ready to push her.
Thanks to learning how to yell for Grandpa as well.
(Little Stinker)

The kids even ran around in the sprinklers
a little before we headed home.

Family pictures were taken and as

always there was a ton to eat.

I am super grateful for my extended family, and the
love my kids always feel when we get together.

Grandpa Dwight's Funeral

We received some late night news that
Shane's dad Dwight had passed away,
and instantly we were in a flurry of
activity to head south for the funeral.

It was a wonderful Christmas Blessing,
as he had been in hospice for
a number of years battling MS.

Shane was very much shook up and on the
receiving end of much of the family drama,
which as funerals go was pretty tame.

We were so grateful for the time we got
to share with all our extended family.

There was a sports night organized
the night before.

Volley ball, basket ball, and dodge ball.

The graveside service was before the funeral.
It was Freezing and Windy!

Thanks Auntie Deonie for keeping
my kids on the ground!

Seriously so cold!

Thanks Uncle Scott for photo bombing!

These girls just adore their Auntie!

After the funeral there was a get together at
our wonderful cousin Lindseys house!

Which included another Impromptu Nativity.

Then it was off to Aunt Susans house
for dancing and more fun.
At least for the big kids!

That night we read extra stories together.
I love staying at Lindsay's for lots of reasons.

One of them is there's always gads of books
to share with my kids at bedtime.

Ms. E was a little under the weather.
hence the cold pack and bucket.

The next day we spent with cousins at Grandma Cathys.

Seriously these kids don't have
a choice but to be friends!

Thanks Lindsey for letting us invade!

June and July Road Trip Part 2

Grandma Websters House was full of fun!

We went on a walk to the park and then ended
at the school where grandpa works.

The air conditioning was great!

The girls even sang for Grandma!
(thanks Auntie Shannon for Playing the Piano!)

Grandma got some precious alone time with
Ms. C while she was happy too!

Thanks Auntie Deanna for letting us
crash at your place!

The next day was full of fun!

The girls went shopping with Grandma Webster
and the Aunties.

We played a lot in the back yard!
While they were gone.

It was a fun game Mr. T made up.
"Baseball Tag"

This girl went on a ride with
Daddy to visit a friend.
Must have been fun.

After they got back we had some lunch and then we
headed out to Police Outpost Provincial Park

The trail leads out onto the
bridge out to an island.

We stopped to look at ducks, listen to the loons,
and even watch the schools of minnows
swim through the reeds.

On the island we walk the shoreline.

Ms. A was providing only slightly
annoying mood music.

On the far edge we stop to put our feet
in the water and throw rocks.

We found some shade and ate treats while
the older kids enjoyed the sunshine!

Ms. A wanted to skip rocks.
Shane tried hard to help.

Soon they were all wet and it was time to
head back to the family doings!

We were headed out to have some cousin fun!

There was water balloons.

Giant Swings and a Trampoline.

There was lots of cousin fun
and hot dogs all around!

It was a super big day.

Thanks again Auntie for letting us
take over your house!

Stay tuned for even more fun!
