Crazy Life and Serious Questions

SO I am on my first babbling rampage of the year. With the new arrival of Ms. E to our household we are very busy - all of us. Sharing one car and struggling to mesh into life after university and entering all kinds of new phases with 2year old Ms. A!! Makes a busy household all around! Always looking for ways to cut back - save money - earn a few extra dollars - and at the same time trying to balance everyone's needs. New Years resolutions were focused around simplifying life. Which ultimately led to the decision to let My Photography business decline even further into the shadows so that I can focus on the girls and get a handle on things!

But . . . A friend of mine and my sister have discovered Etsy and have set up their shops and have even made a little cash. So the question is do I step back from a saturated market and land in a brand new one!! I have already taken a hobby of mine and made it work for cash - and it worked pretty well for 2 years - This year stank but we still don't really understand why that was.

I enjoyed doing some beading during the Christmas season for my sisters and found that the end result was tolerable, and that I had more ideas than I had sisters!! But I am worried that I am simply stepping out of one bucket and into another! Trying to be realistic I may find that simply staying home and taking care of the kids saves more money than trying to run any kind of business! As it is by the time bedtime is over at night I am ready to relax and enjoy - not jump back into work!!

So the serious questions begin . . . which never seem to have simple B&W answers! I'm putting it out there never the less to let anyone post and tell me their open and honest opinion. I welcome any input!
