HALLOWEEN!!

Halloween is like a whole month of fun at our house!!

I confess that I do make the girls wait till after General Conference
and thanksgiving to put up any decorations.

We started the festivities by making pumpkins for the front tree.
Our street is pretty festive for Halloween and
Ms. A was asking to do something outside.

So we had a pumpkin tree.

They Loved it!!

Next was a day of Halloween Cookies.
Sometimes I love living close to Target (SOMETIMES)!
I found some halloween cookie cutters for under a dollar
and spider sprinkles for super cheap.

These Girls LOVE decorating cookies.

Mr. T just loved eating them!

We even convinced Daddy to come join the fun.

Next was Pumpkin carving.

Uncle Darryl Brought us some organic Pumpkins at thanksgiving
and we also bought some from the store to carve.

So we had plenty of pumpkins to carve.

Glowsticks make our pumpkins look pretty awesome!!

Here's our Minion Buddies,

Mr. Triangle nose,

Daddy's spooky ghosts and Ms. A's Heart nose pumpkin.

Then our pumpkins with their pumpkins!!

Thanksgiving!!

Ok so more back blogging here!!

Thanksgiving was fun!

We had the family to our place.
Turns out it is smack in the middle of all the family.

Now before thanksgiving we had a fine time making a
paper-mache turkey - yes folks we made a turkey pinata.
The girls loved every crafty minute of it!!

and here they are destroying it!!

Leave it to Michael to bring down the turkey.

We also played Pin the feathers on the turkey and
Uncle Darryl was awesome and brought
Monsters University with him.
(the girls LOVED IT!)

The Kids had fun and loved the house full of guests,
but my favorite part was that so many people
jumped in and helped out!!

Uncle Rory provided the most I think.
He provided the turkey, mashed potatoes,
and June with super thoughtful advice and cooking tips.
Uncle Darryl brought, orange salad and cesar salad
and Ice cream.
Michael and Raiden brought their potato peeling skills.
Shane and I provided rolls, carrots, and pumpkin roll.
Oh and the house - I almost forgot!

mmmm looks good doesn't it!

And here's whats left!! Must have been good.

Special Thanks to my awesome husband who
dressed and stuffed the turkey.
Somehow I just had a mental block when it came to
putting my hand inside the turkey.
(trust me I'm rolling my eyes at myself too).

We also had the sisters with us for thanksgiving supper
it was nice to have them with us.  (ps we kind of adopted them)

Next up is Halloween!! OOOh what fun!
