November Birthdays

Ok so most of this is about ms. E.
Mr T. Surprised me and slept through the entire
festivities in the afternoon.
So later on when family came to celebrate after
friends had gone, he was fresh!

So First up We had a Little Monster Party.
Seriously there were monsters EVERYWHERE!!

On the front door!

In the kitchen . . .

In the Living Room . . .

Not to mention all over the food!!

We even decorated monster cupcakes!

Ms. E invited some friends but most had delays or
were out on holidays with family.

We had a super fun time with ms. A.R.
Who came and enjoyed the fun with the girls.

Shane Even made up a feed the monster game . . .
which didn't actually turn out as he planned.
A few too many Cheeto's going on!

Then there was cupcakes and birthday songs!

Then ms. A.R. decided she wanted to be fed too!
She was smart and chose Strawberries instead of Cheetos!

Play time (hence ms. E's change of clothes!) then a Skittles race!

And of course Presents!

These were from our neighbour,
she had no idea what they were at all!
But she loved them!!

Dolly and sleeping bag from Family!!

Time to Brag - This is Mr. T's new blanket.
I think it's awesome and so does he!!
(We also gave him some giant lego blocks which everyone loves!)

Then Wave Two arrived.
With MORE PRESENTS!!

And more food, and singing.
Because it's Grandpa's Birthday this month too!

We had an awesome time and we kinda missed the monsters
when they were all down!

Halloween fun!

Around here we have a lot of fun at Halloween!

I love Halloween and how imaginations can go wild.
There are plenty of rants I could go on about what
I don't think Halloween should be
like an excuse to dress
in sleazy lingerie and claim its a costume.

All Week long we watch some awesome Halloween movies
so that the kids have plenty of time to think about their costume.
This year when we were out getting candy we found
an awesome bin of kids movies.

(This could lead me to another rant about Halloween not being
an excuse to produce/watch/replicate unnecessarily gory, nasty,
ugly, disturbing movies.)

Instead I was excited to find, It's the great pumpkin Charlie Brown,
and Hotel Transylvania. (5 bucks each!)

Early in the week we had a fun time carving pumpkins.

Early on I realized I totally over bought for Trick or Treaters so . . . .
we made Halloween Candy Cookies!!
aka peanut butter cookies with peanut butter cups in them!!

On Halloween Night we have a fun Halloween dinner, and trick or treating.

(seriously could her hair get any bigger??)

Here they are ready to go!!
All smiles trick or treating with
Grandpa Dwight and Grandma Carol!!
