Summer Fun

It has been quite some time since the opening credits!! In the last few months we have had a whirlwind of activities around the house!! Ava is now almost 8 months old and trying awfully hard to crawl and experimenting with her voice!!

I was able to graduate in May and then get straight to work for the summer wedding season!! But with Ava around sitting on the computer editing photos has not been so easy! Thank goodness for grandma webster who comes every monday to visit and let me get ahead of the house cleaning for a bit!! Grandma cathy also comes for a visit - usually on friday which also gives me a chance to do a little tidying while ava is playing with grandma!!

Shane worked for pioneer again this summer and is now back a bert and mac's. He loves all his work and is starting to get excited about the comming school year!! Mostly he loves morning pajama parties with Ava!! Our spoiled little girl gets to come play on mom and dads big bed most mornings!!

We have also enjoyed a bit of traveling as shane was given the opportunity to umpire at junior nationals in langley bc. Ava and I spent the week at grandma websters! we even got to see the parade. It was the first time in about 6 years that I have been home in time for the parade!! We were able to visit the hansens in salmon idaho in april - which was a fun vacation!! We have also been able to visit friends in calgary and even visit a water park during one visit!

Opening Credits

Welcome to our Home!! This is mostly meant to keep people who are really interested updated about the life and times of the crazy hudson home. All kinds of news will be posted about school, business, children and family! So Stay Tuned!!

Shane and I have been Married for over a year and we now have a little girl! Love of our life!! Born just this january!! We adore her even through the cranky days!

Shane is still attending the university, and I am as well. I am completing my last semester and planning on graduating in April!!! WOOT WOOT! Thank goodness for very understanding professors and a loving husband! Poor Shane has about 1 1/2 years left but is tenatiously achieving his goals!

The House is filled with excitement as the Summer approaches! Big plans for my photography business, with calls and emails lining up weddings for the summer, and shane being offered a job at pioneer again for the summer months.

Shane is also actively hoping to keep he Southern Alberta Umpires Association running. His first year on the executive committee, and it might be the last year it is in existance. He is busy keeping tabs on injured umpires as well as organizing clinics in lethbridge and training seminars throughout Southern Alberta, hoping to boost umpire numbers! GO DAD!!
