September Sewing the Dress!!

When Ms. V was blessed I got brave and cut the train
off my wedding dress to make her a blessing dress.

Then I made Ms. A a shrug from even more
of the skirt when she was baptized.

Ms. E desperately wanted something from my dress.

So I got super brave and cut up all the rest of the skirt!

This is what's left of my dress.
Just a bodice and crinoline.

This is the gorgeous pile of fabric
 I had to work with.

Here it is hanging up!
Look at all that skirt!!

Her baptism dress was so fun to sew.
I loved most of the process.

I'm a perfectionist so I see so many
flaws but she LOVES it,
and that's what matters most!

Pictures of her in it coming soon!

September Indoor Playground

So . . . we put the kids in two sessions of swimming in a row.
I may just expire as a mom, this makes us stupid busy.

But Mr. T was only in the second session.
Usually we just go swimming but he
was in the mood for a break and so was I!

One week I opted to take Mr. T and Ms. C to the
indoor playground while the other kids were in lessons.
(Shane took them!)

Best Decision Ever!

These two had so much fun!!

What a good big brother!

September Stripling Warrior Challange

This was a new one for us, but we decided to do it anyway.
It was basically like a spartan race for kids.

Complete with obstacle course
and skills competition.

The kids loved it and Ms. E was even the first girl back!
She was rediculously proud of herself.

She said all she tried to do was run right behind the lead boys.
(Who happened to be two years older than her!)

Shane rand with the adults and I stood around with
the babies eating junk and trying to stay dry.

September 1st day of school

The Big Day is Finally Here!!
BACK TO SCHOOL!

Don't get me wrong I love my kids and
we've had an amazing summer!
But every year I'm excited and they're
excited for back to school!!

When did these girls get so big?
Grade 4 and Grade 3!!

Grade 1!

They desperately wanted to take the wagon!
Clearly Ms. C didn't mind one bit.

I think Ms. V was just as excited
 as they were!

I can do it Mom!
I can pull it the whole way!

She is one determined little Chica!

Here's to another school year!
