12 days of christmas

Ok so every year Grandma Webster
and Aunties do 12 days of Christmas
for us and my kids love love love it!
(I love it too!)

One year I totally messed it up,
every year since she's found funny
ways to make sure
I don't do that again.

This year there were 12 gifts to open
in any order we wanted.
(Even I can't mess this up!)

She's a great Grandma, thanks to
Aunties and Grandpa
who helped too.

Truthfully I can't remember the order they came in.
Here they are in no particular order.

Notebooks to decorate.

Chocolate melts and molds.

Movie night.

Christmas cookies.

Slippers!!

Beads for ornaments and decorating.

Apple bells and window clings.
Two separate days.

New Books

Crafty time pompoms and feet!

Coloring books and crayons!

I know that only makes 11.

That's because there was one box marked,
Open on December 24.

It was full of all their Christmas presents!!

October Vacation Pt. 1

Ok So remember in July how we crammed
a bunch of stuff into one trip . . .
here we go again.

Ha Ha!

So we took the girls out of school for a week.
( I know we're horrible parents but it was worth it!)
We took them to visit family, watch conference,
visit the dentist, go visit an amazing woman in Idaho,
and land back in Cardston for Thanksgiving day.
(now you understand why this trip is broken up into parts!)

This was an amazing trip!

Not without its little scuffles, after all ten days away from home
is a ton when you are just 6, 4, 2, and 7 months,
oh and its not so easy for the adults either!

But we packed up and headed south!

First stop Conference and Early Thanksgiving in Raymond.

Which of course means we hung out with Grandma Cathy
and helped her with her garden, and Grandma Margaret
to pick some pumpkins from the patch.

Nothing better than fresh Carrots
covered with good nutritious dirt!

After all the family shenanigans were over,
we spent a day in Waterton!

We love this place, the girls went up Bears Hump with Shane . . .

Mr T and I took my mom with us on a walk to
throw rocks in the lake and then to the park!
I think she really enjoyed some time to just play with Mr. T.
(the girls very much monopolize her time!)

After the hike the girls joined us at the park.

Then it was home to Grandmas.

What a fun sunny time!

We love visiting the parks in the off/shoulder season.

Stay tuned for part 2!
Friends and more!

Gardening with Grandma

Ms A is a huge garden bug!!
One day we went to the store and bought all the supplies for seeding a garden.
We had quite a good time choosing and then we waited for Grandma Webster to visit.
So she could help us plant!!

We planted quite a bit in the end!!

Beans, Peas, Lettuce, Carrots, and Broccoli.

We'll see what kinds of things grow!

p.s. I apologize for the clutter in the background!
Shane was just back from Boys Camp!!
