Bears Hump Waterton

Last year the girls hiked Bears hump in the summer with their dad.
I played at the park with Mr. T and Grandma
while Ms. V slept in the stroller.

This year we all went up together.
It was great!!

I was glad to switch packs with Shane on the way down.
After carrying Ms. V in the backpack to the top,
I was glad for a nearly empty lunch pack.

The kids did Amazing!!
Ms. A even Recovered Pretty well after falling on the trail
and getting a super scrape!

After the hike the kids were all super excited to play
at the spray park with cousins!
A great way to cool down and get wet!!

October Vacation Pt. 1

Ok So remember in July how we crammed
a bunch of stuff into one trip . . .
here we go again.

Ha Ha!

So we took the girls out of school for a week.
( I know we're horrible parents but it was worth it!)
We took them to visit family, watch conference,
visit the dentist, go visit an amazing woman in Idaho,
and land back in Cardston for Thanksgiving day.
(now you understand why this trip is broken up into parts!)

This was an amazing trip!

Not without its little scuffles, after all ten days away from home
is a ton when you are just 6, 4, 2, and 7 months,
oh and its not so easy for the adults either!

But we packed up and headed south!

First stop Conference and Early Thanksgiving in Raymond.

Which of course means we hung out with Grandma Cathy
and helped her with her garden, and Grandma Margaret
to pick some pumpkins from the patch.

Nothing better than fresh Carrots
covered with good nutritious dirt!

After all the family shenanigans were over,
we spent a day in Waterton!

We love this place, the girls went up Bears Hump with Shane . . .

Mr T and I took my mom with us on a walk to
throw rocks in the lake and then to the park!
I think she really enjoyed some time to just play with Mr. T.
(the girls very much monopolize her time!)

After the hike the girls joined us at the park.

Then it was home to Grandmas.

What a fun sunny time!

We love visiting the parks in the off/shoulder season.

Stay tuned for part 2!
Friends and more!
