Road Trip and July 1st! (part 5)

OK so we drove all morning and got the Revelstoke
in time to decorate bikes and be in the parade!

Here we are all ready to go!!

We did have a bit to wait, as the bikers were
joining the parade part way through!

Can you spot them?

Some of us were better at waiting . . .

than others!

After the parade there was a Giant Party at the park.

We stayed to have some late lunch and enjoy parks,
bouncy houses, cake, dancing, and even activity booths.

These girls enjoyed the playdough table for over an hour.

The big kids didn't want to stop even for Pizza Rolls and Fruit.

Shane even caught a glimpse of hang gliders!

Soon it was time to head to the campsite and set up.

We got a great site at a Provincial Campground Called
Blanket Creek.

There was a pond, playground, trail system,
some flushing toilets, and even a water fall.

After finding the bathrooms, I took the kids to the pond.
Giving Shane some time to get everything set up!

The Beach was super fun!

Eventually we needed to head back and check on dad.
Grandma Cathy was there so the kids could stay by the water.

Seriously it was amazing, and I'm glad we had this beach time.
As (spoiler alert) the weather didn't stay that nice.

That night we had smores before bed with
Grandma and Aunties, Uncle and Cousins!

Another Chapter in our trip starts!!

Tomorrow is Enchanted Forest Day!

boxing day skating

On boxing day we scored some
skates for mr. T and so we
headed to Victoria Oval
to try them out!!

These kids are so funny!

They always love the park,
even after an hour of skating!

Such good sisters!

These two were playing tag up and down the slide!

They are doing so good on the ice!

Ms. V especially was determined
to go without any help!

park days at redwood meadows

Our favorite place to escape the city is called Redwood Meadows.

There's a little park and the drive is soooo beautiful.
Ms. C's first visit was a lot of fun.

I seriously didn't realize till we got there that
she was wearing ms. E's shorts.
It looked like a skirt.

Add rubber boots with eyeballs
and it's just about perfect.
