Frog Catching and Bonfire Time

In the Spring we can hear Frogs in all the Storm water ponds nearby.

(and the melted puddles in school fields.)

Ms. A needing to blow off steam decided to bike out and

try her hand at catching a few.

It was Harder than it sounded.

We really like bonfires around here.

May is a great month for bonfires cuz in Edmonton

it is really cold still in the evenings.

This time the girls tried roasted apples and loved it!!

Bonfire!

First bonfire of spring!!
These kids love marshmallows and chocolate!

It was super smokey, hence the glasses and goggles.
But that didn't stop them from
roasting marshmallows!

February Bonfire

One thing that Ms. A has really started loving
is Burning school work.

Especially math.
Sounds very therapeutic doesn't it, literally
burning what has been weighing you down.

Shane loves to help her burn things,
and there's something about a campfire
that gets an 11 year old to open up.

September Tanner Camp

We spent one last day playing at Tanner Camp
 before school came back in.

It was nice and relaxing.
All the toys were off the water but
the kids still had a grand time.

There was plenty of floating.

And sad digging!

There were kayaks, and canoes to paddle.

Everyone want's to ride with Dad!

 Sand fights on the beach.

 Bonfires for early supper.

It was a sunny beautiful day.

Supper time is the best time!

All dry and heading home.

Labour Day Monday is Complete!!
