christmas eve

Leading up to Christmas Eve, we started packing.
I was exhausted, I just hosted 3 birthday parties
and was getting ready to move!

We were super fortunate that our Bishop also insisted that
we get a Food Order from the church storehouse.

One way they could help us deal a bit better with our move.

When we filled out the papers it was suggested that
we get mixed nuts.
We love nuts and though it would be super fun for
the kids during the holidays.

Ms. A enjoyed trying her hardest to crack them with Shane.

It was fun, but the shells were everywhere!

We decided that if we did it again we would
have a bonfire and shell nuts outside!

As the move got closer we took down all the pictures
and our holidays were looking pretty bleak.

So We let the kids make a giant Christmas Poster.
Turning something sad into an opportunity for fun!

Ms. V was adding ALL WEEK!

Ms. C even started enjoying pickles!

Christmas eve was on a Sunday and we had plans to
visit some friends for a pajama party and games.

I loved doing their pajama's this year.

Everyone was so excited!

Ms. V waited so super patiently for her bag!

I bought them pj's this year instead of sewing them.
I am NEVER Sewing them again!

They were all happy and they all fit so nice!
(And I could never have made them for $10!)

(her snowman says 'bedtime is the coolest')

Ms. A actually helped me choose all their pj's
she was most excited for Ms. E's.

Ms. A's Glow in the dark!
(Ms. E helped me with them.)

Ms. C got hand me downs
(she'll never remember!)

And Mr. T thought his penguins were the best!

We packed up a few things and headed to friends.

We opened our family game there, it was Operation.
haha it did not go over well.

Ms. E and Ms. V were screaming every time it buzzed.
Oh well. next year I'll find something tamer!

Late that night we packed all our kids up and headed for home.

We will SUPER miss these friends who let us
crash their house ALL THE TIME!
