Christmas Eve Part 2

We kicked the kids out to the sledding hill in the afternoon.
When they came back they opened Christmas PJ's!

We called Grandma Webster before dinner too.
The Kids were ecstatic about their
Christmas eve presents!

Lanterns were for me and Shane.
They are pretty stellar!

Everyone pitched in for Christmas eve supper.

Then we watched the new Disney movie Soul.

Then after sending all the kids to bed we made a tower
of presents to prepare for Christmas Day!

Good Night!

Christmas Eve Part 1

So after our day at Bragg Creek with the kids
Shane and I decided on another new tradition.

We went on a Christmas Eve early morning ski.

It was a great idea and we will definitly do it again.
perks of having an almost 12 year old around.

We can leave for 1/2 a day and no one dies!!!

Except maybe me.
The trail we took was a little over my pay grade.

But there were some perks like early
morning wildlife.

And some sweet views.

Plus really bored people getting ready
right when we're leaving.

We were glad to get out of there.
It was getting really crowded.

Home for Christmas Eve Day!

Christmas Eve

The best way to tart Christmas Eve is with pajamas!!

I was super excited to turn the kids special
fleece blankets that they had grown out of
into pj pants that they can use again.

Butterflies!

More Butterflies!

(aaaand a half naked baby, but
that's not news around here!)

As good as it gets sometimes.

Sitting in the dirty laundry.
 (We've been puking leading
up to Christmas.)

Walrus Licorice and Stars.

(the blankets were from before she was born
so she got some new hand me downs!)

Pirate Monkeys!!

BOOO!

When did they all get so big?

Hugs for Mom for new pj's!

This year we got to spend time with some friends
who's house was a little empty.

They just sent their first missionary out in November,
so having all of us around was a little bit distracting.
Which was great for them and us!

Everyone loved the Rudolf nose!

 Please don't take my picture,
I'm still soo tired from sick kids.
Too late...

Twice.

Mrs. A trying to best Peter at Connect 4.

Then it gets serious with chess.

Thanks Peter Esther and Brody
for an amazing supper,
and sharing your holiday with us.
