November Tree Hunting

So this year we decided to hop in the car and 

cut down a tree all together.

Previous to this year Shane took Taylor and had a

manly day traipsing around for a tree.

But we had got word that the lake at 

Tanner camp was frozen.  

Tree Cutting is out that direction so off we went.

The van was an orange disaster.

But the kids were happy.

The perfect one!

Tie it down and head to Tanner Camp.

It was a pretty cold day.

But our kids did great on the lake.

 

These two are so great.

He just adores her.

My ambitious husband planned to shovel all the way down that line.

The kids were super excited to skate.

Ms. A helped Ms. C a lot!

Shovel, Shovel, Shovel.

The fire was Toasty.

 

This girl was done and cold really early.

I took her back to the van to play.

The kids did so good helping drag everything back 

up to the van when they were done. 

Teamwork!

That night Ms. E somehow convinced shane 

that we should get McDonalds.

What a fun day.

November Sister Smith Leaves

So we love the Sister Missionaries around here.  

They are amazing!! 

Sometimes we love them a little too much.  

Sister Smith we loved Sooooo much.

We had a very special last visit 

before she went home.

We sure miss her.

We kinda squished ms. v can you spot her?

 She was so sad. Poor kid.

November Ms. E turns 9

Ms. E got a bit of an early birthday present!

My mommy brain was way more stressed than she was.

She was Excited Scared. 

She worked all year on taking care of her hair.

If you can take care of that curly mop,

you can keep pierced ears clean.

So brave!

So Cute!!!

I told her so many times that she eventually

asked me to stop.  

But I couldn't help it!

 

She has tiny earlobes like mine.

 

Rainbow Gem Flowers for the win!

Because of this milestone she just had a single friend 

over for a lateover one night closer to her birthday.  

They watched the live Aladdin, ate popcorn and giggled all night.  

Her sweet friend bought her peanut butter and jelly earrings.  

November Grandma Cathy Visits

We had a fun short visit from Grandma Cathy.

The kids had a day off school for Remembrance Day 

and were so excited grandma came to visit!

The kids had a grand time with her for a short little bit.

Ms. A always finds new ways to get Grandma Time all by herself.

They giggled, drank hot chocolate and roasted apples.

 It was so cold. I was taking pictures through the windows.

November Mr. T turns 7

Okay so my mother brain was finally functioning and 

this boy had people show up to his party this year!!! 

Holy cow it was wild and raucous and fun!  

We ate and played games and opened presents and 

played with presents and ate some more.  

Thank goodness the weather held out and 

I could send them outside for a bit too.

Ok so seriously it wasn't until after we sang that I realized,

 the balloon seven was backwards. 

 

So much fun.
