This year since the kids were home leading up
to Easter I tried a new tradition.
Each day leading up to Easter we would sit
at the table and read about a person who was
involved in the Easter story.
We Followed a list from Emily Belle Freeman.
We also learned about what was happening
to the savior on that day leading up to
the crucifixion.
In the end it was a little long some days
and next year I think I'll do an either or,
but not both.
Shane and Ms. A helped me by creating an Easter Tree.
We thought it was super appropriate for our family.
It was actually boughs from our Christmas tree.
(yes it was still sitting in our back yard in the snow.)
Ms. A was excited to use a new pocket knife that
Shane had given her.
Glad he's coaching her how not to stab herself.
A couple days later we wrote our testimonies
and put them inside plastic eggs.
The kids loved this activity and definitely
want to do it every year!!
Towards the end of the week we Dyed Easter Eggs.
Ms. E loves the Tye Dye method!
Such a crabby tween!
Happy Easter!!
Such Fun Creations.
Later that day we enjoyed the actual Easter Egg Hunt!
And everyone got spoiled with new books!
Sometimes these kids are super Spoiled!!
