Getting a Christmas Tree

Usually we wait till the first weekend in December to get a tree.

But the road Shane wanted to go down for trees closes 
December 1st so we just decided to do it early!

Fist Ms. A Climbed a tree and fell out.

Yep not a dull moment around here!

Then we trekked through a bog.

We even stopped to examine some recent 

hunting expedition remains.

It was so new the knee cartilage was 

still springy and flexible.

Trughthfully I think the kids were less impressed 

and excited than Shane and I were.

No success but they wanted to party in the van 

while we got out and tried again.

We were much more successfull without them.

We needed three trees total as we were finding 

some for families in our ward.

Ours was from the bog.

It was huge and fat and needed a ton of trimming.

We decorated it all up the next day.
