October Date Night!
BLACK AND WHITE NIGHT
I know that traditionally black and white night means
I know that traditionally black and white night means
dressing up and going out, suit, tie, little black dress . . . .
um I'm 8 months pregnant!
So that means that instead we had a fun
black and white night at home.
Chocolate and Vanilla pudding,
which we shared with the girls before bedtime.
After we got them all into bed the rest of the night was pretty simple!
(sorry no more pictures of this months date)
Awesome Black and White cake!
Along with Oreo's and a Black and White movie.
We talked about what a nice date it was
just because it was so relaxing.
We had been super busy and it was so nice
to sit back and do nothing for a bit!!
Which geared us up for . . . . .
Happy Halloween!!
We sure had a happy Halloween at our house!!
We seemed to party all day long!!
Make that a long week!!
About 3 weeks before Halloween we painted/drew on our massive pumpkin!
The Girls LOVED IT!!
Closer to Halloween we needed a winding down activity
after dinner so we decided it was time for our
Halloween Chain Creation!!
We had a massive snow storm which made me super grateful
that I get to stay home with my kiddo's for the most part!!
There was still some leftover when we finished carving
the regular sized pumpkin.
So the day after carving Shane took the girls out
to create their Pumpkin Snowman!!
Halloween Day was a ton of fun!!
It all started off with Ghosty Pancakes with chocolate chip eyes.
Then we got ready for the tot party with some of
Ms. A's little friends comming over.
(ok so mostly their mommies were ladies
I don't often get to visit with but I LOVE!)
Some fun treats which I don't take credit for at all!
(pintrest is awesome!!)
Even Shane thought the mummy juice was great!
(I saved him one for when he came home)
Jack-o-lantern orange slices!
(huge hit even days after)
My franken-pudding would have worked out better
with a bit more pudding
but everyone still loved it!
Ms E. was awesome, she loved the whole party
even though most of the kids were much older.
We made some Halloween masks,
Everyone loved playing with the Elephant,
We sat down for some snacks,
Played ring around the rosy a couple of times,
(Ms. E was so ecstatic to be included!)
Just about lunch time everyone decided it was time to head out
and so we said goodbye and thanked everyone for coming
to our fun little party!!
It was as simple as that - we had a great time!
I knew shane would bug me if I didn't post even
one picture of me with the costume.
I'm a nice large bumble bee,
good thing Ms A's blocking it all!
(if you didn't catch it Ms. A's a Fairy and Ms. E's a Flower)
Then we relaxed and cleaned up a bit and
got ready for Pumpkin Pizza!
Daddy in his costume.
He's a little sad about the state of the NHL.
said this was probably the only day of the
season he could wear his jersey anyway!
After dinner we drove to Grandpas residence and visited for a bit.
Auntie Diana and Uncle Riley were excited for trick or treaters.
We made one last stop at Grandma Carols before going home.
Shane took Ms. A to some random houses along the way
that were close to where we were stopping!!
She had a wonderful time!!
It was a Fabulous Holiday!!
Next post will be some crafty-ness I have finished up of late!!
