So in our house I have a stash of birthday presents
for the kids to choose from when they are invited
to birthday parties.
After a long week of being inside, without much to do
outside due to super cold and snowy weather
all except one day this week.
It was also announced that we would not be holding
church services to help with social distancing.
Our little man finally had had enough
and was not having a good sabbath.
What happens then, this mom resorts to bribery.
Sorta?
One of my favorite things that our dollar store carries
is cardboard 3d puzzles.
I dug them out of the bin and they had a ball making
a huge pile of cardboard mess, and an
amazing assortment of cardboard animals.
We had a stag head, a unicorn head, a full body dinosaur,
and a butterfly.
They were busy all afternoon and part of the next day
as they decided to paint them!
Moods improved, chaos managed.
Breathe deep, the week has only just begun!
