August Long Weekend
So we had a wild plan to mash our anniversary
and a trip to grandma's house all into one.
Step one, Drive the kids to kaninaskis and try to find a campsite.
This was mildly annoying, there was nothing, it's august long.
Good thing we're meeting Grandma Cathy at the park for lunch.
We made some stretch stops and enjoyed some fun discoveries.
Like a birds nest.
After Meeting Grandma at the park Ms. C
and I waited for Shane to show up.
Nap central in the back of the van.
Walking around exploring Mclean Creek Day use.
Fruit and Cheese Buns for lunch.
Then down by the creek to throw rocks.
Bored, Tired and Stuck wating.
Eventually we make it to a spot Shane likes.
We bike in. Mrs. C kind of enjoys the ride.
But she's tired like me.
I'm too tired to care.
Tomorrow will be better.
Let the adventure begin.
