So last summer at the beginning of summer
I started a chart, 100 acts of kindness.
The intent was to focus on their good behavior,
and reward them for it.
When it filled I promised we would
take them to McDonalds for lunch.
I want to disclaim that McDonalds is definitely not
my favorite, but this is about the kids and they
LOVE it and it was their reward.
(thanks toddlerapproved.com)
Well it was a total flop, I was not that mind full
of all the goodness they did.
Here it was almost the end of the school year
again a whole year.
I was positive they had been good enough to fill
the chart months ago, I'm just not good at this
whole responsible parenting thing, haha.
So the first couple weeks of May I made it
a point to be more mind full and before
you know it the chart was filled.
McDonalds here we come.
This girl was a seriously satisfied customer.
So much ice cream.
Oh the giggles and fun and awesome memories we made.
