Dance Recital

Ok so these ladies had a fantastic year at dance!

They made some awesome friends 

and totally enjoyed recital! 

And the flowers did I mention how much they loved 

THE FLOWERS.

They Felt SUPER SPECIAL!

Shane and Mr. T's awesome turtle adventure

Shane had heard about Surveyors lake from 

awesome friends who loaned us our canoe for 

camping for my Birthday. 

A campground and lake filled with turtles!

Shane and Mr. T took a trip and had a 

grand time counting turtles.

First camping trip of the year!

Yes we're crazy! 

CRAZY FUN!!

Ms. V used her awesome watermelon swim suit 

for the first time.

We decided to pack up everything but the kitchen sink and 

head out to Little Bow Provincial park and 

Camp for my birthday! 

Happy birthday to me I know!!

We loved the impromptu entertainment around the campfire.

 

Late night swings to hopefully wind down.

 

This stinker was the problem man! 

Poor Shane spent the night driving around in the van 

trying to get min to stay asleep!

Breakfast was a little chilly but the kiddies were troopers!

We loved canoeing on the lake,

Playing on the beach, walking through the trees, roasting marshmallows, 

chasing children to the outhouses, and driving home just in time 

to tub before church. 

MR. T and Shane are headed out again soon for some manly bonding!

mothers day and french accents!

Mothers day was wild this year but we had a great time.  

I was super glad to take Ms. V to visit Grandma Stieger.

Props to Grandma Cathy who took the kiddo's to the park.

I love the way she says her name with a fabulous french accent.

 I'm not sure who is more excited Mr. T or Ms. V. 

She pretty much just fell asleep and let Mr. T poke her,

 and push her and mess with her hat, 

all while she was sleeping.  

She's pretty amazing!

Next up is some serious fun - Camping!

How proud am I as a Parent? SUPER PROUD!

Here she is and her art from school.

Naturally she took everyone to see it during the cousins visit, 

and some even after that.

Big thanks to grandmas who always seem to have 

cash for the parking meter for me!!

Ms. V's Blessing Day!

We had such a fun time with so much family here for Ms. V's blessing day!

All the work leading up to that day made things run pretty smooth 

(as far as I could tell)

Wahoo we had a ton of fun with cousins for a whole week.

Ok so honestly 8 kids is a lot, 

but we can do anything for just one week!!!

We did have a grand time playing in the water.

Crafting stuff for mothers day for my mom.

Um Mr. T didn't want to have anything to do with crafts though!

Even just hanging out watching cartoons was a hit.

We even tried to play in the rain - we settled for puddles.

We were sure glad that these crazies were visiting!
