Ok so Shane hasn't quite sold me on this one yet.
I think the best thing to do in a blizzard is
hunker down and watch movies.
He thinks before that we should go sledding, somehow

Oh and a super long tow rope to help
the kids get up the slippery hill.
It wasn't the craziest thing we ever did.
And the kids were happy to have warm tubs
and showers after so there's always that!
