I had a really weird home school week,
So this day of skiing was really needed!
Lake Louise
We arrived slightly before friends so we headed up
to the lake and messed around on the ice.
It was Soooooo Cold.
Like -24 degrees Celcius.
We talked with the kids about why it was so
much colder on the lake.
We didn't stay too long, lunch was devoured in the parking lot
with these funny birds begging at our windows.
Pretty sure they are Grey Jays.
It was much warmer in the actual townsite.
Only like -5 Degrees.
We were quite a group once we finally got started.
When we got back there was a
series of dog piles by the kids.
When things got out of control a bit we decided it
was best to line up for a picture instead.
Then there was hot chocolate and treats
for the drive home.
I'm super glad we ventured out.
