August Camping Trip

This trip was something else!

Some friends came down from Edmonton
to join us with their twin boys, for some
 awesome camping adventures in Kaninaskis!

We had a blast camping as a family and the kids
enjoyed all the ins and outs and all the food!! 

We had some awesome rain one night and we're 

pretty sure that lightning struck a nearby tree.  

Lesson learned this trip,

Watermelon is essential for camping happiness!

We went hiking, threw rocks in the river,
roasted marshmallows, ate and ate and ate!

We were pretty sure this poor tree was struck by lightning.
It was charred all the way to the top
but not missing any branches.
